Good clearance between the rim and the pole negative attributes this needs a 20 inch diameter hole over 72 inches deep be prepared for it least the day a work if you're going to install this yourself I'm 6'9" 270 pounds and I wanted a basket that I could dunk on and not have to worry about damaging it. This basket is made of excellent materials and is very heavy duty and so far has performed well.
